Important news regarding eligibility for Free School Meals

If you think you may be eligible for Free School Meals, you can apply online on the Bradford Council website . This not only provides free meals, but also gives you access to other benefits such as free or reduced cost after school clubs, uniform vouchers and more. It also benefits all of the children in school through the Pupil Premium.

From September 2014 all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can receive a free school meal – regardless of their parents’ income.  However, please note that it is important that parents still apply for Free School Meals as this affects school’s income and also allows parents to access other benefits through the Pupil Premium including uniform vouchers.
