At Baildon Glen, we know that pupil attendance is key to their success in school.

We celebrate all aspects of great school attendance with pupils and their families, including carrying out regular attendance challenges and incentives in school. We encourage ALL pupils to display Excellent Attendance, which we exemplify in the following ways;

• A pupil who attends school every day 
• A pupil who is punctual for school
• A pupil who attends medical appointments outside school hours, where possible

We share information with parents and carers regularly on their child's attendance and explain/offer support quickly if we are concerned. 

We are part of the Bradford Attendance Charter, which also encourages the importance of regular school attendance for all pupils;

We are also part of a National Attendance Hub, more information on this can be obtained from the school office.
